Christians, why do you think this pattern of claiming to have evidence,then failing to produce it is so common?

They never change do they? As expected, the first two answers from Christians (Christopher and Patty) simply prove your point. They have zero evidence, only Christian propaganda, and when they're asked for evidence, they resort to insults.
