Good home for a male mallard duck.?

i live in the bay area San Mateo county. we purchased a mallard duck that we thought was female, it turns out to be a male and we cant keep him. i have fallen in love with him. he is a little human shy because when he was a baby we had him in a cage where to get him we had to come at him from above. he has now been moved into the coop with the chickens. he has a great appetite and loves to drink water. loves it. we are not even considering anyone who wouldn't let him live out his full lifespan. so in other words, don't even reply if you cant prove that you or this place wouldn't kill him for meat. he deserves better than that. he is still younger and just started developing his male coloring his name is Gazzy from the maximum ride series. if you have ducks as pets and are looking for a male with Beautiful coloring we live near Burlingame, if you live close we can take him to you but if not you would have to pick him up. if you know of a place that is close please include the address.
