I think that you got some really good herb. Usually, when it sparkles, that means you have THC crystals. Compounds will only crystallize when they are VERY PURE. Therefore, the crystals that were popping were basically made of pure THC. When you lit up and inhaled, you turned the THC crystals into THC gas, and that got you super high.
