Does it matter if you replace a 100 V 1 A fuse with one with same amperage, but higher voltage? Same Load.?

I am a Journeyman Electrician and I can tell you that fuses work on amperage only, The voltage rating tells you how much voltage the fuse will stop when the fuse is blown. I.E. 250 volts MIGHT jump across the gap formed when a 12 volts fuse blows, causing electrical voltage to continue to flow in the circuit. That said you should never put a lower voltage fuse than the one that was removed from the circuit, and always put the same amperage fuse in the circuit.
