Should moms be arrested for turning their children forward facing before legal?

Each state law varies on the legal age and/or weight for the child to be turned around but I see many moms on here saying they are turning their children around too soon, to the point where it really affects their child's safety. It is a LAW not a suggestion that they remain rear-facing up to a point (again it varies from state to state). In my state if you do not have your child in a car seat you are arrested for child endangerment AND the for breaking the law requiring your child to be in a car seat... You should check in your basement or crawl space. That is usually where the cable line should be run to be distributed to the rest of the house. You should see some kind of splitter that you can plug the incoming cable into. If it were me I would also run the cable through some PVC pipe and bury it so you don't have to worry about it getting messed up from laying on the ground.

Is my dog being 'dog aggressive' or no?

I have a female Shih Tzu that I adopted from an abusive background. She is really bonded to me. She has only snapped a few times, once when I accidentally picked her up wrong and it hurt her, and when she was scared because of another dog and I picked her up from behind. She has no bite history, and has never bitten, just snapped like she was really irritated and not directly at me or anyone else like she intended to bite. I have only had her a few months and she is the sweetest dog with me and once she gets used to people. She does good around other dogs, ONCE she has been introduced. If they get near me then she will growl at them, but never bites. I usually put her down when she does this, and say no. When she meets other dogs she will bark like crazy and show her teeth if they get near her. Once she has been around them a bit, she does good and will play with them, sleep with them, and she is not food aggressive at all with dogs or humans. She seems like a very dominant dog, she always has her tail up and while she doesn't bare her teeth or bite, she does hold her ground and bark at them. I am at a loss of what to do with her to get her used to other dogs, other than introduce her to them.. it seems that once she is around them a while she is fine so I am not even sure it is a problem. I have had her about 5 months and introduced her to 4 dogs so far including a border collie, corgie, shih tzu, and german shepard with no problems besides initial barking and growling. We don't know much about her past other than she was extremely neglected, malnourished, matted, had scars, and was missing teeth from dental disease when the rescue group found her. What are some ways I can introduce her better to dogs and get her to be more friendly?

Sounds like you love your beagle very much to want to help him be a better dog. I love beagles and had a little girl beagle for 13 years. I want to say in my untrained opinion what you are doing is working, so I don't really understand why the trainer does not like the methods. They are not cruel or sending the wrong message from what you have written. I have had good luck with a loud voice "no bite" command and stopping everything and walking away. It will startle them and they soon realize you don't like to participatein that kind of fun (?). Another suggestion if you are not already doing this is never ever use your hands to play near his mouth, even just a gently playful touching on his nose, etc. may be an open sign that your hands are play things. I don't know about the dominance thing except I am a female and I was talking to a male friend that owned a beagle at one time. I was sharing how my Sadie does not seem to be as loving to me as she is when a male comes around. She would go to any male and lick them on the face and just "ham it up" and show off for them. That is why I gave her a parlor name like Sadie because she was quite the flirt! He said Beagles are pack dogs (hunting in packs) and they look to the leader of the pack which he claims to be males - sounds like a story to me... Does anyone know what can cause pain in someone hands, feet, legs, toes ?

I have Parkinson's Disease but that seems to be pretty much under control. Last summer I started having edema in my legs and feet and I lost control of my arms and legs. I was diagnosed with injection refraction of the heart, and myclonus due to taking Wellbutrin, and I was hallucinating but I knew that I what I was seeing was not real. I was fine for about 3 weeks after they stopped the Wellbutri and then I started ago but o much as the first time so they stopped the Amantadine - to make a longer story shorter, I now have pain constantly in my hands and fingers, feet and toes. Sometimes it's a burning type pain but sometimes it's shooting pains especially in my fingers. I have back pain which I know I have a degenerative disc sitting on top of my tail bone and that also causes alot of pain. I have days that my speech sounds like Forrest Gump, I've had a hemoglobin of 9 and took two erythropoietin shots so that's up to almost 13. Any input anyone ? The Docs. can't figure it out

Hoarding runs in my family. My aunts on my moms side hoard and my parents do. My uncle on my dads side hoards also. The weird thing is my none of my grandparents were hoarders. I am a Journeyman Electrician and I can tell you that fuses work on amperage only, The voltage rating tells you how much voltage the fuse will stop when the fuse is blown. I.E. 250 volts MIGHT jump across the gap formed when a 12 volts fuse blows, causing electrical voltage to continue to flow in the circuit. That said you should never put a lower voltage fuse than the one that was removed from the circuit, and always put the same amperage fuse in the circuit.

We rescued this Doberman at 3 months and her previous owners already had her tail docked, A procedure I do not agree with. She is now one year and a half old. For 3 days now she has being licking this area more frequently in an 'outburst' manor, I have read about worms and swelling of glands, it is not swolling and she is not dragging on the floor, i examined what used to be her tail and noticed a black discoloration at the stump. She slightly reacted when i touched the skin. I'm not sure if this black patch usually appears on the end of an amputation on a Doberman so I don't know if I should be alarmed and take her to the vet. Shes not in a lot of pain but as I say this only started 3 days ago. I'm also wondering if improper docking can cause long term damage to the inner tissue of the tail, and therefor cause the dog to feel at discomfort. just to add, she has all her tablets and jags to date. How can i prevent bloody knuckles from my gloves/heavy bag?

Symptoms to a miscarriage.?

Hi, I'm in 8th grade now and i attend a very small school with 23 people in my whole grade. I am going to a big public school next year for high school and with the grades i have now i will be in all honors cles. My problem is, my school is very easy and since there is a small amount of students in the grade we are all very close with the teachers (for that reason we never get homework and everything is super super easy). I'm afriad that the only reason i have good grades are because my school is easy and behind on the curriculm. If i go into all honors cles i might be very behind and not do well. However, if i go into CP (college prep; average cl) i will be ahead and i want to have all honors for when i apply to colleges. In math i have an average of 98, but since my cl is really slow and nehind it takes me awhile to get it. In honors cles next year i will be with smart people who wont need alot of time to understand when i will need time. what can i do to get ahead?

I have an ailing Father and Mother, a daughter who does not live with me full time and has one more year before college, to move 1100 miles away for a love interest? I have been all over the world, and at many times have lived away for periods of time. I have always had my home to come back too. I have found someone who is much like myself, and get along with very well. He is 56, I am 48. He has great character and is established with a beautiful home in Upstate New York. We have the potential to have a wonderful life together, but I am struggling with leaving my loved ones. He is not the typical person I would be attracted too, but is actually very good for me. My sister's seem to think I would make a mistake in moving because they don't think I would like living there.
